This marks the third time that EducationCity.com has been short-listed at the Education Resource awards. In 2007, EducationCity.com was shortlisted in the Supplier of the Year category.
In its 10th successful year, the Education Resources Awards recognise the quality and diversity of educational products and resources to encourage the very best in education.
Ray Barker of BESA commented: “The Education Resources Awards celebrate the achievements of educational products and services that help to make teacher’s lives easier and provide a greater practical use in the classroom.”
Judged by teachers and lead educationalists, the awards identify those products that ‘stand out from the others’ in terms of their ease of use and effectiveness in the learning environment.
Matt Drakard, CEO, EducationCity.com commented: “EducationCity.com has been listening to and talking with teachers for many years to constantly enhance our resource to engage students and improve outcomes. EducationCity.com’s innovative approach to learning supports teachers, giving them more time to provide a personalised learning environment for each individual child. The fact that the judges have recognised this and rewarded our work is a truly welcome accolade.”
